HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MI — An unwanted drive-through was opened Monday at the Computers and More store when a customer drove their car into the front of the building at 350 E. Lakewood Blvd.

The car smashed through a partial brick wall and plate glass window at the store at about 12:30 p.m.

“I was talking with a customer and suddenly there was a loud crashing sound and glass started flying everywhere,” store owner Chris Raphael said.

In addition to the storefront, the unidentified driver also damaged a computer display at the front of the store.

Police reports on the accident were not available but witnesses said the driver and passenger in the car were not injured.

Raphael had no estimate on how much damage and loss of inventory was caused by the crash, but said he planned to put up on an advisory on his store sign, “No more drive-through service.”
