Tushaus Computer Services to add 15-20 jobs

Tushaus Computer Services said Tuesday it will add 15 to 20 jobs over the next several months – an increase of more than 11% of the Wauwatosa firm’s workforce. The new hires will be in sales, and technical areas such as application development and engineering support as Tushaus’ customers move toward digital strategies that include mobile devices and cloud computing.

Tushaus was acquired last spring by Dedicated Computing Inc., a Waukesha company that designs computer systems for use in such things as military vehicles, flight simulation equipment and CT scanners.

Tushaus currently has 135 employees, said Kris Palen, a company spokeswoman. The company offers software development, networking, cloud hosting and other services to more than 1,000 customers around Wisconsin. Relying on a “cloud” typically means you are using someone else’s servers rather than your own computer to access data, software applications and computer processing power, and store your work.
