Ephrata, PA, February 20, 2012 –(PR.com)– LINC U.S. made it’s debut Monday with the introduction of the LINC AZ desktop, bringing custom personal computing to Amazon.com. With this first entry into the market, the LINC AZ is simply meant to offer Amazon customers the ability to customize a general purpose everyday PC. Powerful enough, yet affordable. And while this custom model can be found on Amazon.com or purchased direct at LincStore.com, LINC also offers a non-customizable complete version of the AZ which you’ll only find exclusively on Amazon.com.

LINC gives you more. The AZ currently features the game Xotic from WXP Games. Xotic was named “Top casual PC game of the year!” by Adrenaline Vault. Other promos include one month of free service from FilmOn and a free copy of DiRT® 3™ (when you upgrade to the XFX HD 6770 graphics card).

What’s ahead for LINC? In the coming year, look for the debuts of the LINC SX, “The new look of desktop computing”; the LINC Profile, the company’s new all-in-one desktop; the LINC EX, the powerful new gaming and multimedia PC; the LINC Phase, the fast and affordable new Android tablet. LINC also has other devices and all-new software in development.

LINC president Kevin Redman says that he hopes to offer consumers the same high quality machines that he builds for himself. Providing custom built flexibility and options that are not normally seen in the brand name computer market.

About LINC U.S.
Founded by Kevin Redman and Kevin Carvell, LINC U.S. is an American computer and technology company that develops, builds, and markets desktop, tablet, and wearable personal computers and communication devices with an emphasis on simplicity, innovation, design, power, and afforability. LINC also supports the experimental robotics community.

So why “LINC”? This is our nod to PC history. Originally developed in 1962, the LINC (Laboratory INstrument Computer) was the brainchild of Wesley A. Clark and Charles Molnar, and is often considered to be the first minicomputer and the precursor to the personal computer.
