MacAuthority Opens New Store in Nashville
Apple lovers now have a new place in Nashville to pick up the latest gadgets.
Regional computer retailer, MacAuthority, has opened a new store on West End Ave. near Vanderbilt University.
Crowds were lined up out the door Saturday to take part in the store’s grand opening celebration.
The store gave away limited edition tee shirts to the first 100 visitors and conducted drawings for dozens of prizes including a MacBook Air, iPad 2, iPod Touch and more.
MacAuthority President and CEo Mark Gregory says the store’s proximity to Vanderbilt is no coincidence. They plan on stocking store shelves with education-discounted merchandize making it the official Apple reseller for students, faculty and staff at both Vanderbilt and Belmont universities.
“Only two store like our will exist – where an Apple Specialist is designated as the official Official Apple Campus Store,” explained Gregory.
The new store is located in the 2525 West End Shopping center with other popular stores like Starbucks, P.F. Chang’s and the new Barnes Noble Vanderbilt Bookstore.
