Kodak wins PC Advisor’s Best Printer of 2012 award

An all-in-one that’s aimed at photographers, the Kodak Hero 7.1 is a credible and well-rounded package. All models in the Hero range benefit from built-in Wi-Fi and extremely low running costs, but we think the 7.1 is the best option for home photo printing. It’s better than many dedicated photo printers we’ve tried, and will save you space and money to boot. If photographs are important to you, this all-in-one is the printer you need to pick, and it won’t cost you a fortune to run.

About the PC Advisor Awards 2012

Our annual roll call of honour considers every piece of hardware and software that has passed through our Test Centre over the past year. We look for innovation and excellence, outstanding performance and value for money.

Only excellent products make the PC Advisor Awards shortlist, and we congratulate all the manufacturers represented on the list. If a product still looks great from the view point of up to a year after its first review, the chances are that it is great.

That does, however, mean that our PC Advisor Awards coverage is not necessarily a buyer’s guide – for that you should visit our Test Centre and Reviews. Some of the products may no longer be available, and in some categories they may have been superseded.

Whittling down the shortlist to pick out individual winners isn’t easy. In all cases arguments could be (and were) made for products other than the eventual winners. But winners there must be.
