TMCNet: Competition for Best Computer Repair Shop Heats Up

San Diego, CA, Feb 09, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) —
Competition heats up as MojoPages Awards voting for Best Computer Repair Shop in the U.S. approaches its end. Voting takes place in small cities to large metropolitan areas, with the most popular markets being Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Orlando and San Diego. Final votes will be counted on Saturday, February 11th at midnight.

In Southern California, San Diego is heating up as voters support their favorite computer repair shops. Last year’s winner, Mobile Tech, is trailing NL Technology by only a few votes competing to be the Best San Diego Computer Repair Shop. Link Light Networking is close at third place, followed by San Diego Computer Laptop Repair.

In the Best Los Angeles Computer Repair competition, voters have shown their support for current leader MJM Network. SalvageData Recovery Systems has been receiving a lot of votes as well.

Any business in the category is eligible to compete, but ultimately, the voters decide who the frontrunners are in each city. When voting for a business, users have the opportunity to describe their experience at the venue, including its pros and cons.

Computer repair shop owners have already started campaigning on behalf of their nominations. The most common strategies used by business owners to get votes include sending emails to customers, requesting votes on social networks and even installing “Vote for Us” badges on their websites.

To determine winners, MojoPages assigns each company a “Mojo” score, which is calculated based on reviews from sites and users throughout the Internet. Credible reviews have a greater weight on the score than reviews with a questionable credibility. Businesses are then ranked from best to worst, with the top in a category receiving bragging rights as the MojoPages Award Winner.

For more information on a specific category, go to http://www.mojopages.com/ and click the “Awards” button. Users can select their city and see the top businesses in each category.
